How quickly we got through January. The days started running together with all the rain and wind! The club made it through just fine and the weather is improving so come on out for practice or any of the planned events.
The International League started and is well under way at this point. Last weekend was hosted by Old Skagit and saw a good turnout of local shooters. Team Old Skagit is doing very well this year--see the standings on the "International League" page. Next weekend at Bellingham is another opportunity to shoot in the League without crossing the border. Come out and support Old Skagit's team and also the Bellingham Club. Bellingham is an easy club to get to and a great club and good people to shoot with. The Winter Handicap Series is almost over. Next month is the last shoot in the series. After the second event there will be the "Champion of Champions" shoot off. This is always fun to watch and cheer for your favorite shooter. Come out and participate or shoot practice, stay for lunch, and watch the shoot off. Also time to dust off your .410 shotgun and get in some practice in preparation for the 2020 .410 Championship that starts in March. More information can be found on the "Fun Shoots" page. This is a weekly competition as well as a seven-week league. Weekly prizes as well as the buckle for high score over all. Very challenging but also fun. For the PITA shooters--programs for our shoots during 2020 are now posted. There will again be four "regular" shoots plus the two doubles marathons. Also remember the monthly Multiplex shoots. Be sure to check our calendar for the shoot dates.
